Absolutely delightful and adorable, I just bought my nephew several book sets and it was not cheap. Kids don’t need to be playing video games and to be influenced by social media streamers. This is such a wonderful way to bring they’re beloved family together and help them grow, thank you for this presentation that articulates emotions with thoughtfulness of one-another. I shared this video thank you

This is why lock-downs going on too long has been a deficit for reading development. God bless the teachers and parents who continue to do read alouds! With teens we have found reading the book that inspired a movie to be a good way to foster discussion with them on comparing the book vs. the movie.

I think it is more reading with expression, passion and in character. Your readings with joy and energy makes your kids more interested in reading. I have been reading to my kid since she was in her mother's womb. I read every morning and every night. When going places in the car, we play audio books for her. Now she is three she can read by herself but still enjoys when we read to her. This young lady comes to my bedroom with a pile of books as soon as she wakes up.

Wow, she’s amazing!!!!! I just realized after listening to her, I had really horrible teachers that weren’t patient with me , parents that NEVER read to me or helped me with my homework & reading.. I just couldn’t get into a book, couldn’t understand and worried about how i sound when reading out loud… It messed me up and have insecurities about it….HOWEVER, I will never fail my child like my past teachers & parents did to me when I was kid ….

Reading improves your focus and concentration.

With all the distractions nowadays, people have really big problems with concentrating. Don’t be one of them.

You’re stressed out? Then pick up a book.

Research conducted in 2009 showed that reading is the most effective way to overcome stress.

Scientific studies show that reading actually makes you smarter.

Your body needs movement. That means your brain needs movement, as well. And reading is the best workout for your mind.

Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

Verily, the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and earth, even the fish in the depths of the water, seek forgiveness for the scholar. The virtue of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the stars. The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets. They do not leave behind gold or silver coins, but rather they leave behind knowledge. Whoever has taken hold of it has been given an abundant share.

I can't believe how much my french has improved since I decided to just plough through books and read. I do look up words I don't know and wright it in the margin, but I just keep moving forward in the book. That works really well. I may have to look up the same word a few times, but it starts getting into my brain after that. Others just stick. Weird how that works.

As a bookworm, who has over 300-odd books. I can’t stand e-books. You can’t beat having the physical copy in your hands. Call me old fashioned.

i've only started reading once I left school as I can take my time and not meet a deadline. If i borrow from the library I either re-borrow or make a note of the book and page and re-borrow it a couple weeks later if someone else has borrowed it out.
